“As interior designers, we see so many natural influences in McGuire’s collections—the genius way they combine materials and the simple, natural forms that make up their beautiful contemporary pieces. I wanted our room to be a collection of tribally influenced items—as if I had just gone to Africa and returned with a collection of things that I mixed with contemporary art and furniture. What inspires me is finding the similarities between what we see from ancient cultures and the influence that has on design today.”
