Longevity is having a moment. In New York, even luxury real estate is beginning to move beyond the usual amenities — gyms, spas, pools — and into the world of diagnostics, recovery, prevention, and long-term wellbeing. Which got me thinking...Although it's never an exact science, there are a few guidelines we can use to determine what your project will end up ROUGHLY costing before even beginning the design.

Is the designer qualified to practice? Make sure the interior designer is properly licensed by New York State. Ask your Designer for their NYS license number or go to the New York State office of Professions to check if the designer is on the list.
